Overview

The Technical Services Manager is a key role responsible for overseeing the installation of projects utilizing SuperWood and ensuring that each installation results in delighted customers. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and at the highest quality standards, while serving as a technical trainer and a bridge between installation partners, clients, and sales partners.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Training

  • Act as the face of the company with customers, installers, and distributors, winning customers’ confidence and ensuring a positive outcome with each project.
  • Serve as the technical expert for installation processes and products
  • Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and performance expectations
  • Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and repairs when required
  • Train, audit, and mentor installation technicians and contractors
  • Support continuous improvement through best practices and process optimization
  • Oversee prototyping and mock product installations.
  • Collaborate with Product Development team to create installation guidelines and best practices.

Quality & Warranty Control

  • Inspect completed installations to verify compliance with company and product standards
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and job-site compliance requirements
  • Document quality findings and implement corrective measures as needed

Project & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between clients, contractors, internal sales team, and technical departments
  • Act as company and product ambassador with external stakeholders.
  • Support sales team with technical input, site evaluations, and pre-installation planning
  • Track project progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records using CRM, project management, and scheduling tools

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise

· Strong working knowledge of installation processes with cladding systems and decking systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and codes.

Leadership & Project Management

  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience training and developing installation guidelines.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, scheduling software, and reporting tools.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a technical, installation, or field operations role
  • Prior experience in regional or supervisory roles preferred
  • Industry certifications or safety training (OSHA, manufacturer certifications, etc.) are a plus

Degree or technical certification in business, construction management or related field.

Salary

$125,000 - $175,000 per year
